Dear Ars Regendi Team,
I really like the concept of Ars Regendi and I think that one of the features that make it such a great game is it's incredible complexity and the obviously BIG amount of background-knowledge in it (Lena Liefenwahl's
suggestion in the Discrimination-Task is a good example).
And although I appreciate the fact that a Player doesn't have to spend 12 hours a day in order to play the game successfully, I am convinced that Ars Regendi would benefit from a larger amount of decisions a Player can make each quarter (which doesn't necessarily include overcomplicating the game, e.g if a Player has to decide on 5 or 6 rather than 1 - 3 tasks, countries would become more complex due to the big amount of influence that each decision has on their structure, economy etc. without requiring too much extra time).
The necessity of contemplating a decision's possible consequences over the long run is certainly a major part of the game, but I think that a wider range of tasks and opportunities to influence a country each quarter would not only pace up the entire game a little bit ( for those who just can't wait for the next quarter
), but it would also allow players to develop more elaborate concepts of rule in their countries since every decision (and especially every reform) has the potential of leading to major circulations in both the government and society itself.
Therefor my suggestion is to increase the number of tasks that a player can decide on every quarter to a number between 5 and 10, thus providing more opportunities of influence without exceeding a total of approximately 20 minutes or half an hour of time required to make these decisions.
Is that possible? What do other Players think about it?

You'd like five times so many?
