Hi, congratulations for the great game Applaus It is really addictive.
But there are things that I don't understand Kopfkratz
1. How do I reduce corruption? I banned lobbies, this helped a bit, but not enough!
2. What do "money supply", "nominal interest" and "PE-others" mean and how do they affect my economy?
3. What's in it for me to participate in an alliance?
Big Grin
nobody answers... what's wrong? Don't like the questions? Tongue
Question 2 and 3 are ask by myself in german, so it isn't a problem with the language.

As far as I know: increase the justice budget. If courts have more money, they will fight crime faster and more effectively. Dunno which budget part contains police, I'd guess it is among 'Others'. So increasing the 'Others' budget could help also.

You can profit from reforms you wouldnt be able to initiate alone (because your influence is too low) and you dont have to spend a quarter for it. Also, your police and research will get a boost, depending on the settings of the alliance. And you have some nice fellow alliance members to talk with, in the alliance forum.

hi, i wanted to ask how i can increase the point of length of commanment (do you call it like that? i mean herrschftsdauer...)
i looked at some other states and they had various numbers there, but my states just have 1... Glotz
what does that mean?

money supply is the amount of money that people can spend (the hard cash Big Grin). i it is too much, the goods will loose their values, if it´s too less, you´re economic will crash, because the people can´t buy anything anymore.
the nominal interest is a bit difficulty to explain. you lend money to your people. and you want to get back more money than you gave to them, so if you have a high nominal interest you can get a lot of money (and invest it in projects for the third world - or your new pool) on the other side, your people lose money they could buy goods with, so the economy is harmed if it is too high. but unfortunally i´m not shure if this is true...
i could assume that PE-others is what in german is called sq-sonstiges. then it would be the money you spent on... well, other things... which are not listes above. don´t know what exactly is ment here... i left it untouched since the very beginnin and nothing happend, so it doesn´t seem to be that important. but it would be cool if malone, our all lord and master *schleim* could explain it to us Smile

Increasing PE Justice is one way to do that, and other PE values too. Additionally there are some tasks that affect corruption.

Money supply > Wikipedia, nominal interest is in Ars Regendi a mix of the federal funds rate and the average market interest rate. PE-others are public expenditures for media, traffic and so on - everything what does not fit into the other PE-positions.
