A bit like this game, but there's a lot more options to build your nation like technology, trading and WAAAARRRRRRRR!

Thing is, if you haven't joined an alliance by your second week you'll definitely be at war with 2-3 people.
I'm in the Global Alliance and Treaty Organization, I figured I'd introduce it to you guys because all you Germans would feel at home in an alliance who stole it's name from NATO
It's largely a direct democracy with a Constitutionally limited elected Head of State and a Congress to keep all levels of government in check and to create laws and such.

Give it a try, it's a bit of a 5 minute a day game like Ars Regendi but if you wanna get to a powerful position in GATO you should be active on the forums.
I've being playing for a few weeks now, the game itself is a lot of fun but the GATO community's what will keep me there for a long time to come.
