International Peace-Keeping Missions
I think if a state's extremists get too high and it becomes a danger to how the state is run, a peace-keeping force from other states can be sent. This should only prevent the regent from being assassinated.

RE: International Peace-Keeping Missions
i find this ironic as most of your past states ended with you being assassinated, anyhow this wouldnt work as one of the main points of the game is to try and not be assassinated and make the "correct" decisions or properly enforce them with an iron fist, if your not powerful enough to look after your country and refuse to leave office you will most likely be assassinated, its all part of the game

RE: International Peace-Keeping Missions
I agree with the above comment, not to mention the fact that it would require enormous additional work to the game's mechanics.
The myth that the founding of American Republic was based on the philosophy of John Locke could only have been maintained, because the history of Leibniz's influence was suppressed.
