I was ready to sign non aggression pacts.

For the case my english was not the best:

It has because for years I have gone back and forth with certain players who obviously don't like my aggressive RP style. And for some reason they take this RP style as my ACTUAL personality. Unfortunately my being Russian does not help at all since it seems that many germans don't like russian folks and the way Torgai and others speaks to ME (Not Alexei B. Miller) gets VERY disrespectful and it does feel personal I don't see ANYONE else get disrespected the way I do here and I'm sick of it dammit!

I say this over and over again, because people can not hear it often enough:

Do not, NEVER, forget to make a distinct line between OFF-RP and RP! Yes, you too Alexei. A lot of things that happen in RP only, you take personally. This is bad! This is not only destroying your own fun but could potentially turn to an downfall of an entire world.

No one is disrespecting you anymore than anyone else here. (Atleast as far as I am aware).
You need to understand that in RP, anything goes. I literally play Nazis. And I am a fucking anarchist baby. Yes, you are treated according to your RP which is most often so far neoliberal. (Your continous Work called Gazprom for example, is very neoliberal). That this results in agression towards you is obvious. (Me playing anarchists or socialists and not attacking your char/nation constantly would be kind of unrealistic, for example).

That was merely a delay tactic MUAHAHA! Even if Russia gets wiped out the FsSH WILL BURN! Muahahahaha!!

I'm sorry for abusing that storyline of the sad russian but mehhh realpolitik!

THIS! This is the reason why some people may not like you!

THIS IS OFF-RP! Yet you used it for "realpolitik"
This is too far. You mix Off-RP and RP and cry when other people do the same to you?

Honestly..... Torgai's tone really did offend me. Had he not talked to me like a fool during the so called negotiations I don't think I would have felt the need to retaliate. He failed to understand the misunderstanding of it all and the had the nerve to issue me an ultimatum.... I'd rather go down in flames then submit to an ultimatum. This is how you know I am Russian.

Same thing here, Alexei.

And the only thing Russia did in the RP was to look down on the others and there was a point where i was not anymore able to explain why a socialist superpower should accept this.

Well if you review my RP you'll only see aggressive RP against Pannistan, but this is something me, Panne, and Aslan agreed on. We said we would not allow a hot war to start not now at least. I have proof that I wanted to tone down my RP, but the Noble Entente encouraged me to keep it up because the Russo-FsSH RPs were the only thing keeping the world alive...

I now notice that some N.E. states join the attack against The Commonwealth? The strategist in me wants to believe that the FsSH and HTO were played against each other... to destroy each other so that only the N.E. would remain above the rubble? It's plausible and still yet deniable, i'm still genuinely disappointed that the RP will likely die in this world after this conflict.

I wonder if General Mangi had anything to do with this. I don't doubt that he's left.... or am I starting to sound paranoid now? SuspectSuspectSuspectSuspect

English Whatever the result of the conflict may be, I am always in favor of gentleman game play. The active role playing community has become much smaller in the recent past, and frustration over [loosing a state]/[nuke attacks]/[supposedly unfair behavior of other players] often led people to unfair revenge attacks in the next world, deleted accounts as well as players who simply never came back. On one hand I find this very frustrating to see and I got really tired of it. On the other hand this is very understandable, since a world is running for 6 months and all the players invest a lot of energy into it.

Therefore, I like so suggest to all of you to consider returning the conquered states to the loosing side once the conflict is over. Of course, that comes under the premise that winner dictates the rules for loosers for the ongoing world, for example imposing restrictions on military size and nuclears arms, and/or forcing alliance memberships. The looser in turn naturally has to keep up on his side of the bargain, and may not backstab the winner.

I am writing this on purpose at a relatively early stage of this conflict, where there is not yet a clearly winning side. However, this is in no way an official statement from an Ars Regendi team member, as their a no rules on a how world has to be played. This is purely a player talking out of experience, who furthermore thinks that a game should be fun for all sides.

I actually like this idea Mrproper, there are several things I would have done differently to avoid this. But now that it's going forward it's actually kind of fun and nice break from the usual. The betrayal from the THU was a surprise I didn't anticipate and really added an interesting (and workable) RP dimension to the world.

My only conditions will be membership in a reformed and inclusive Commonwealth with limited military restrictions. I would see no need to impose further conditions when it's already been made clear some players don't like my aggressive RP style.
