Bank Reform I

Pro's and con's?

I think I might do it anyway because I am an Authoritarian Statist by nature and I don't like the idea of private individuals controlling banks and currency.

RE: Bank Reform I

Not much to report. Bank Reform I has minor effects on your economy since it just reorganizes the banking sector, but if your are interested in the details:

It will slow down growth and inflation a bit (Con)
Your banks / financial system will never collaps (Pro)

It's actually a good reform with a nice trade-off. I only do the reform if it fits in the RP-Story of my state. In your case, go on and implement the reform. You can note down the data of your economy before and after implementing the reform here.

I hope my answer is helpful Eyes

Regards,
Shah

I play like I am actually in charge, like if it were real. And being a communist--Err let me rephrase that so no one can argue this point, Authoritarian Socialist (Marxist-Leninist) , I believe the banks should be owned by the state so I was planning on it anyway just wanted some incite... But considering you're a fascist...... Norsfire? Seriously? lol

RE: Bank Reform I

Well, in World Florenz maybe some kind of religious-fascist, but I try to play a different style every time, telling every time a new story. First time I played as the Shah, the next time I played democratic and so on, my last one (Novgarod) was authorian socialist, not Marxist-Leninist but rather following the ideas of Martov & Axelrod (Mensheviks), kind of a mixture of authorian socialist policy with bourgeois/market-based elements.

I like the way playing a nation like you would be really in charge and not like a simulation, just looking on the figures and data. So thumbs up to you Daumenhoch

RE: Bank Reform I

I view this reform as essential, an economy should not rely on the whims of a group of private interests. Also it brings in more income for the state helping balance the budget.

It is both ethically and economically correct!

I tried playing different rp's at first, but now, no, I'm a democratic socialist and play as such. I want to correct my state using this engine only according to my morals.

Theolor:

I have never experienced a problem from launching this reform. Revenue to your government will slightly increase in the short-term, and there will be slightly increased economic stability in the long-term.

Best wishes,

-Jay
