Best investment portfolio

The most profitable and reliable investing the current economic crisis is the real estate business. But you need to invest in large amount in order to really get the extra profits or abnormal profit.
Specially the commercial real estate has very attractive earning to offer the investor but it take very large amount of finance to get involved in this sector.

Real estate? I'm not sure that this would represent a sound long term investment given that the housing market is overinflated in many countries.

I think the best Investments in the current economical climate are options. However, it's quite difficult to pick the right ones.

Commercial real-estate isn't sustainable and that bubble is fixing to deflate once those loans are rolled-over. The reason real-estate has been such a good choice is that it crashed so much during the crisis, creating short-term value opportunities. Even a mediocre business can make a wonderful stock if it’s priced cheap enough. Nonetheless, housing-starts are 50% lower than in 1995 & millions of mortgages and loans remain underwater. With that in mind, I believe “Energy” will continue to be favorable (oil, natural gas, coal, oil-service providers and drillers, ethanol, solar and wind).

What type of portfolio allocation is recommended for investors between the ages of 30 and 60 and why? How does an investor decide how distribute your investments among the stocks, bonds, mutual funds and cash?
