Books Audio E and real paper

I have been thinking about this for a while and think it might be a good idea to share some of the books we read/listen to.
I tend to favor Audio books the most because i can get though them faster and onto the next book while still doing other things.

I shall add this here i am Limited to English Language so expect this to be the only language of books i offer.

To start i shall suggest and if i can find a method offer a copy of this audio book to the readers of this forum thou small it may be.
I shall also ask if anyone has taken in this book before or heard of the author.
(Author)Carroll Quigley
(Title)Tragedy and Hope: A history of western civilization
This is a rather large book and can be challenging to take it all in, in just one listen through, i am making my way though a second time with the book and find it rather enlightening i would say the only flaw with the Audio book copy i have is that it is read by a computer and that can cause the flow of the read to be broken up at times, but in my opinion even with that in mind it is worth it to take in the book multiple times so that i can catch as much as i can.
Just as a good movie has some things you might not have noticed the first time around this book has qualities like that, in that you need to listen more then once to gain a more complete picture.

(Author)Spider Robinson
A number of books revolving around the character Callahan and his bar full of friends gave me a deep love for puns and is a very funny series.
I do not however have any copies of these books but in my opinion they are very funny as well as fun sci-fi style.

(Author)Bertrand Russell
(Title)A History of Western Philosophy
This is one i listened to a long while back and found it an interesting listen, a real person reads this audio book.

(Author)Multiple
(Title)Confucius, Lao Tzu, & Chinese philosophy
An interesting one to listen to as well, this is read by a real person as well.

(Author)Max Brooks
(Title)World War Z
This Audio book is read by a real person.
This book is about a worldwide zombie invasion/infestation and the part of this book that made me seek it out is the Heavy Marxist influence laced throughout the story.
Thou honestly i am not big on zombie stuff, i find it interesting the pedestal this book ends up placing Marxism on.
This is not my favorite book but i had planned to place as many books as i have read on this list as i can a little bit at a time.

(Author)Jesse Ventura
(Title)63 Documents the government does not want you to read
This Audio book is read by a real person.
This is very dry book done in technical manual style so some people may find it hard to listen to.

(Author)Ayn Rand
(Title)Atlas Shrugged
This audio book is read by a real person.
I know this book is a famous one so if there is anyone here who has not heard of it i will be surprised,
i enjoyed the story in this book a lot and found an interesting insight while taking in the story.
This Book is a large one so expect it to be an investment in time to listen to and in my opinion it is a worthy investment.

(Author)Suzanne Collins
(Title)The Hunger Games/Catching Fire/Mockingjay
Audio book read by a real person.
This is an interesting story that Details one possible future that the present world elites would like to see formed.
The trilogy Focuses on a young girl who becomes the icon for a revolution.

(Author)Ayn Rand
(Title)The Fountainhead
Audio book read by a real person.
I liked this story as well but not as much as Atlas Shrugged.

(Author)Robert A. Heinlein
(Title)For us, The living/The Unpleasant Profession of Jonathan Hoag/Rocket Ship Galileo/Beyond This Horizon/Red Planet/Farmer In the Sky/The Man Who Sold The Moon/The Green Hills of Earth/The Puppet Masters/The Rolling Stones/Assignment in Eternity/Revolt in 2100/Starman Jones/The Star Beast/Tunnel in the Sky/Double Star/Time For the Stars/Citizen of the Galaxy/The Door Into Summer/Have Space Suit—Will Travel/Methuselah's Children/Starship Troopers/The Menace From Earth/Stranger in a Strange Land/Glory Road/Orphans of the Sky/Podkayne of Mars/Farnham's Freehold/The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress/I Will Fear No Evil/Time Enough For Love/The Number of the Beast/Friday/JOB; A Comedy of Justice/The Cat Who Walks Through Walls/To Sail Beyond the Sunset/And a few others.
All these Heinlein titles are read by a real person.
I Found Heinlein to be a solid author for stories that hold a grain of realism on the way the characters react and story arcs but in my opinion some of his last books started taking on a quality that i could only guess as ether his age was getting to his creative process or he started moving into concepts that he did not have the fullness of language or understanding to express the same way as his earlier stuff.
A great author in my opinion.

(Author)Sun Tzu
(Title)The Art of War
Does not get much more classic then this.
This Audio book read by a real person.
Good stuff reads like common sense in my opinion.

If i see that this subject is wanted i will think up more to add and if someone wants a copy of some of the Audio/E books i end up listing here we can see about working that out at that point.
I hope others will post some of the stuff they have looked into here as well for while i have a mountain of Audio/E books still as yet to get though as well as a number of physical books to get though i am always look for additions to add to my mountain.

Well i found an English translated copy but the index suggest that there are going to be holes in the book you suggest, but if you can point to a English translation that is complete that would be helpful.
But even as is i still have added what i found to my pile.

But just at a glance it looks like a very statist bit of Philosophy should prove to be an interesting insight into Chinese society.

RE: Books Audio E and real paper

The translation is complete. The Chinese text itself is missing a few end chapters.... probably partly because they didn't warrant copying. One was just a list of titles. The list of titles chapter would have been irrelevant after the specific rules and practices detailed had changed. Remember that in the past, "chapters" were their own miniature books/texts and passed around as such, only made whole later, "chapters" (books) in a set might be moved around, added, considered irrelevant in the copying, etc. This book is almost certainly not by one author.
