Budget, Basic Income

In the Budget, the Basic Income (BI) is shown in units of "€ pcm". If I move the cursor over the [?] behind the pcm, the explanation states: "per capita monthly in average". What does the "in average" mean?

Is it the average monthly payment to grown ups (100%-BI) in the year, because BI is inflation ajusted (and thus increased) every month/quarter?

Or is it the average comprised of the weighted (children/population) childrens-BI (50%) and the weighted (grown-ups/population) grown-ups-BI (100%)?

I am uncertain because I cannot come to the shown number using PE basic income and the population figures but I hope it is not the latter because it would definitely not correspond to the other data provided and because I want to know my 100%-BI, not some sort of weighted average.

This is right. Where is the problem?

RE: Budget, Basic Income

Data from Budget and Demography:
basic income: 1.748,97 € pcm on average (BIpcm)
PE basic income: 4.635,95 Bil. € (peBI)
Population: 288.351.301 (Population)
Children: 74.347.197 (Children)
Grown-ups: Population-Children=214.004.104 (GrownUps)

If BIpcm is (as stated) the weighed average and I therefore calculate BIpcm*12months*Population I get 6.051,81 Bil. €.

If BIpcm is the Grownup-BIpcm (the 100%-BI so to speak) and I calculate (BIpcm*GrownUps+0.5BIpcm*Children)*12months I get 5.271,63 Bil. €.

In neither case do I get the 4.635,95 Bil. € from my Budget.

Oh well, this is the formula: [SQGE_BG1]*([BEV_BG1]-0,5*[KIN_BG1])*(1-0,8*[IMA_BG1]/10000)*0,00012*[BEV_Faktor]*[SQGE_Faktor]. I marked the part which reduces the overall costs by the rate of immigrants who can't claim the Basic Income Smile

RE: Budget, Basic Income

If I multiply the 6.051,81 Bil. € by 0,8425 (1 minus the contingent of immigrants of 15,75%) I get 5.098,65 Bil. €.

I have to admit I can't really make sense of your formula. If you could explain ...
[SQGE_BG1]
[BEV_BG1]
[KIN_BG1]
[IMA_BG1]
[BEV_Faktor]
[SQGE_Faktor]

RE: Budget, Basic Income

0,8 is a blanket value adapted for all states. Additionally there may occur apparent inaccuracies due to delays.
