Converting Free Country slot to a Country in a World

Hello, I'm brand new to this game and I'm about to create my first country! I noticed however that when I went to the country creation screen, I noticed that it says at the bottom "With at least 5 experience points you can use your free state slots for a world state." Does this mean after I somehow attain 5 experience points I can put the country that I'm about to create into a world instead of just having it as a "classic" country? And how does one go about earning experience points? Thank you in advance!

That's just there to ensure that you've pilled up some experience before creating a world state. In the mean time you can create a classic state in order get the ropes of the game. When you've reach the required experience to create a world state, you can then delete the classic state, or keep playing it till your regent dies of old age, or you get disselected, assassinated etc.

Yes, if you have 5 experience points and a free state slot (or pay 20 Coins), you can found a new World state in this slot.
But once a state is created, it cannot be transferred to another mode (i.e., when you have founded a state in Classic mode, you can't join a World with that state. You have to found a new one).

Experience points are gained for every quarter you govern a state *- how much per day is dependant on your state's stats. If they improve, you get more points. Unfortunately, there is no exact formula..

*thus you have to play in a Classic state for a while to get the experience for a World state

btw: Welcome! Big Grin

Thank you! And I appreciate your fast responses!! I'm actually really excited about this game due to the level of depth that it seems to bring. So then, let me ask this question, when your regent dies, doesn't get reelected, or anything else, what happens to your country? Do you just not get to run it anymore? And what happens if I create a country within a world, and my leader dies, does the country just get deleted from the world?

If your regent dies or doesn't get reelected, the country will be kind of frozen. You cannot do any actions anymore, and time will be stopped, but you can still see it in your history.
If you delete the country, the complete data is lost.
In both cases, the country disappears from the map (if it is a World state).

If your country is conquered (in a World), it stays active and the regent is replaced by the one who conquered it. Unfortunately, it will only appear in his history (or someone else's, if it is conquered again), not in yours Sad

If you die/get disselected that country joins the archive and you cannot use that name you gave it. If you delete it, it doesn't go into the archive and you can then use that name for an other state. This is for the classic states. You cannot delete world states. I see Lyu beat me to it Wink

From the premium tab...

Premiumuser
1.State Overview: compare to the beginning, last quarter and the average state
2.Details: See all diagrams
3.Individual: use your own avatar and flags (except in the worlds)
4.Forum: access the forum for premium users
5.No Adwords
6.Task archive: see what percentage of regents chose which choice

VIP-User
1.State Overview: compare to the beginning, last quarter and the average state
2.Details: See all diagrams
3.Individual: use your own avatar and flags (except in the worlds)
4.Forum: access forums for premium and VIP users
5.No Adwords
6.Task archive: see what percentage of regents chose which choice
7.compute prognoses

So, there's not a great deal of difference. It's possible for a VIP member to run two separate alliances at the same time and VIPs also get an extra star underneath their regent name!
