Right now your GDP is exceeding your monetary supply. I suggest adjusting MS fast, you risk an economic crisis. Since you pay out a basic income, probably your state needs even a higher MS than average states.

That's the thing: Nominal GDP growth is mainly caused by inflation not by economic growth. If I increased money supply I'd spur inflation even further, wouldn't I?

And Government's expenses, including the BI, are covered by taxes (mainly VAT) and savings (accumulated budget surpluses).

And the system should, as it is a partial reserve system, mainly regulate itself. People in need of money can loan it for a currently very low nominal rate of 1%, creating new money in the meantime. (The nominal interest rate is one of the more unrealistic features of the game, as it is supposed to be an average rate of interest of some sort and is currently 7 percentage points below (!) annual average of inflation, meaning that people, who loan out money, loose 7 % of its value in the course of one year.)

As I understand it, velocity of money has picked up resulting in a yearly turnover of money (nominal GDP over Money supply) above one (3,128.15 Bil. € / 2,675 Bil. € = 1,17).
