If we can implement a reset button for the players.

Oh, that would be brilliant!

Really, that would actually be an effective and easy way to solve this O.o

What is the possibility of such a thing being implemented?

Can there be any quarter resets previous to that being implemented? : p

RE: GDP Collapse

I proposed to make it dependent from Actionpoints, maybe 1 point for each quarter. We could also implement that in every non-competitive state, even though time travels should not really be part of a simulation... Pfeif

Very true, but perhaps that lack of immersion is preferable to the lack of immersion from having your state crash and burn over three quarters Heuls24x19

The action point thing would make sense, but it would penalize people for no fault of their own (it would be the matrix's). Maybe just make it so that people can't go more than 10 quarters back. Once they know for sure the matrix is derping out they'll have the quarters to go back. There would have to be a limit of quarters one can go back on, so no more than 10 quarters (no matter the number of 'time travel reversals' done) so that people can't just make immortal jellyfish out of their states.

Would there be any chance of my state 'CaiusGabriel' being sent back into time 10 quarters? : P Would it prevent the collapse from happening?

Well, that's still disputable Wink

I set your state back, but I don't know if this will save it.

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! It's hugely appreciated! I'll try play as carefully as I possibly can tomorrow. Again, thank you!

Also, is there a thread concerning the automatic reset suggestion thing I could follow? I think I'll defo start doing some tickless states again, once that goes live : p

I really appreciate you allowing me the closure!

Everything started going perfectly again, even with a balanced budget, with the economy constantly growing and increasing the budget which in turn allowed me to increase health and admin expenditure, etc.

Sadly, interest rates just could not be increased any longer, so the saving ratio going to crap brought back the living costs/net income issue. I thought nationalizing banks and money creation would allow for the easier use of the interest rate? Increasing it by 50% every single winter didn't even budge it from the 1% rate.

Anyway, it seems like the quarter reset helped a ton. I really hope it will be implemented. It could just be tested out on willing (optional) ticless state people ; P There isn't any risk in that especially as it's only for the very willing to try out.
