GDR template has become Switzerland?

I am having strong impression that in my absence GDR template has become much nicer place for Regents. Am I only hallucinating, or it was really reworked into a socialist wonderland with tolerable national debt and stable currency? Faint18x19

I've always been meaning to ask you, what does Tianzar mean? I know you have a soft spot for the name. Wink

It does not mean anything. I simply do not want to invent new names every time I create new state so I use variants of the name that I have come up with long time ago. I am very lazy. Tongue

I think the template now starts off with better money supply, that should make a serious difference. Also I remember discussions about letting state income scale with inflation, Malone probably implemented that.

I've been comtemplating about former UdSSr-States, and I came to the conclusion, that they have been too negatively formulated before.

Well, technically the GDR was never part of the USSR *beinggeeky*Oldno

Is there now also a correlation between subsidies and state income? I haven't played a GDR state for a long time but I think the state income remained at the same level no matter how much the state is pushed out of the economy via the budget.

RE: GDR template has become Switzerland?

I've started a GDR template myself. I love that MS and GDP are in sink, and that the starting deficit is made easier to handle. High growth will trigger a collapse of the environment index very swiftly, so I have to promote a smaller tempo of economic growth. I think I'll focus on expanding immigration as much as possible, in order to promote a true leibnizian worker's paradise. ^^
