Was just wondering if there are any negative ramifications upon a persons state if their Alliance was to give them a lump sum payment?

I have been considering it for a while and cannot think of any real, or lasting ones which could cause a nation harm.

I'm thinking it would impact Inflation and Interest Rates - but only in a minor way which could be balanced with a right decision in a task or two or in the next budgetary change.

Can anybody provide any more in depth details?

A too high one time payment can harm a state very much. You should not pay more than about 25% of the GDP.

Was I right in my assumptions of areas of impact? Just trying to understand how exactly they would impact a nation so that should I need to use payments I can make effective use of them

Sorry, no exact idea. But I know that states which received very high payments went exitus quite soon.
