Impossible reforms

Even the happiest nations haven't got the sufficient influence to activate "reforms" such as planned economy. 7 is the highest influence level I have seen anyone have so far. Thus, it seems to be impossible to ever reach such a degree of development.

And in reality you don't to have about 90% in order to establish a new mode of production Hmm. Therefore I think the bar should be lowered...

There will come tasks which allow you to increase your power, and additionally features which allow you to raise your popularity or promote a reform, in order to lower the needed influence.

RE: Impossible reforms

What about lowering the needed value depending on the policy of the state? For example a 'communist' rating for economy could lower Planned Economy's requirement by 2, a 'socialist' by 1. Since the state already has a lot of influence on economy, it is easier to introduce Planned Economy. For each step into the liberal direction the requirement could increase.

For alliances, the average position on the economy axis could be used to determine the requirement.

RE: Impossible reforms

What exactly IS the best way to increase your Influence? I really want to reach the ability to implement a Flat Tax, then Penion Reform, Privatized Healthcare, and Monarchy. In that order! Cool
