Let them do surveys
How about an option to find out what the population is feeling the most discontented/extremist about maybe it costs AP to use thus a player can act fix the issue rather then groping around in the dark it is realistic to do polls/surveys to find the mood of the populace and see what they complain about the most, plus it is not fun to find your nation crashing but to not know why.
