Liberalism Reform

The Liberalism Reform should reduce Other State Income (Details/Budget) to or close to Zero. Where should it come from? Own economic activity? There is no own economic activity in a liberal State, that has reduced government's role to securing life and property of its people.

Edit: I don't know why this thread appears in the Questions-Forum. I thought I posted it under "Bugs and Mistakes". "Suggestions" would be alright also, but it's definitely not a question (although the text contains questions, but they are rethoric ones).

RE: Liberalism Reform

Moved to Suggestions.

With respect to your question: I recently implemented Liberalism in this state, an there is no more Other state income as per you suggestion. In another state with a recently implemented Liberalism reform, little Other state income remains. However, it makes up for only 0.15% of the total state income. Looks to me as if the reform keeps up to its promise.

In general, it is important to keep in mind that your state represents the sum of all your actions. If you implement Liberalism first, and afterwards start picking decissions that point into another direction, your state may revert to less "liberal conditions". Transfered to another example: You may introduce reform Pacifism first, and afterwards rebuild the border fortifications, buy new fighter jets, increase military spendings ...

RE: Liberalism Reform

Interesting. I implemented it in several GDR-Templates (for example DDR III) and it always stayed untouched.

RE: Liberalism Reform

Actually, other state income is a large income group for a liberalism reformed state. Most of its income should come from fees or charges anyway...
and those would not be touched.

RE: Liberalism Reform

In GDR-Templates it is roughly 40% of GDP at the beginning. That would be quite a fee generating State, especially after liberalism reform.
