Liberalism

RE: Liberalism

Sheep hat mich unter dem Thread:

http://forum.ars-regendi.com/voraussetzu...-1752.html

RE: Liberalism

Hmm, thought I was in the English section of the forum.
*rubs eyes* Previous posts still don't look like English, must make appointment for eye doctor. Wink
Anyways, a few thoughts. I ran a translation of the above posts and I believe that the general consensus is that Libertarianism is a milder form of anarcho-capitalism. While this might be generally true in the free-market sense, Libertarians at least here in the U.S.A. also tend to advocate removal from entangling foreign commitments. So, no involvement in Iraq, Afghanistan, and no military bases in foreign countries either. This also includes no or extremely limited foreign aid payments. I don't know what consequences this reform has, but to be true to Libertarianism it should definitely have international relations consequences. Lastly, the reform title is Libertarianism but the post in the forum is liberalism. The two are very different in my mind. If they are intended to be the same, please correct. Smile
