Most Completed Projects

Greetings,

I would like to know how Russia lost the Award 'Most Completed Projects' Russia has maintained this title for many quarters now. Further Americae and Russia enjoy the same amount of completed projects AND on our CURRENT projects we are both at 17% completion. Please clarify, while this will not tip the scales I would like to retain this Award as its deserved.

I understand your frustration, so I decided to look into that as well. The reason why Fugger received the medal is, surprisingly, simple. You won't have to look into the code - It can be seen "by eye" with my explanation.

The award for most completed projects always goes to the player who has the highest number of finished projects in the current quarter. If you are the first person to finish x many projects, you will get the award. If someone catches up with you, he (or she) won't get the award. You keep it, as long as the other person has the same (or a lower amount) of finished projects. If the person, however, at some point overtakes you, you will lose the award to the other person. This happened to you.

Look at the history of your two states: Fuggers America finished the "Great Wall" project in Q196, Russia finished "Voyage to Mars" in Q199. Consequently, Americae had 11 finished projects between Q196 to 198, while Russia had only 10. In that time frame, Americae 'stole' the award from Russia, and Russia did not fulfill the requirement, as explained above, to get it back. That's why you state lost it.
