No you can't, except through tasks. National property means, buildings and land, the government center, public hospitals, public parks, public roads, railways, museums etc.

Just as Helsworth said, you can do so through tasks. Likewise, you can nationalize stuff as well throught tasks.

There are also reforms, if you have the influence to do them.

Try increasing your money supply, your state should eat of inflation a little bit and diminish the new indebtedness. Your main problem is that you are indebting yourself at a high interest. Also try reducing your nominal interest rate, you've been saving for quite a while now, so it's time to lend to stimulate consumption and business loans.
Do the flat income tax in order to get more revenues, cut pensions till they are more in line with the cost of living. Your deficit was mainly caused by the reduction of the income tax from the government wage support task.
Don't dispair you're not in the woods yet Wink If you don't have enough influence to do the income tax reform, use special actions ergo use reform propaganda.
I told you before to lower the pensions, you didn't listen... Rolleyes

So your low influenced prevents you from doing major changes to the budget.. ok.
Only state revenues are indexed with inflation, not spending, although I'm not sure pensions are index with inflation, or at leat that they are indexed over time. But the general idea is that you get a littbe bit more paper than you spend.

RE: National Property? WHAT IS IT

yes, helsworth is correct.

that' s what i did, and it is slowly helping my deficit.

lower the interest rate, and increase the money supply.

these two things will have these effects.

the lower interest rate means more people will be able to borrow money and start businesses, buy homes, etc...which means you will be getting more income tax revenues from these newly created businesses.

of course, you have to increase the money supply so the banks have the money to lend.

it is a slow process, but it really does help over time.....give it some time, you will see.

my deficit was very high, but it is slowly improving now that i have done the two things helsworth suggested.

it would have been even better but i built the personal rapid transit system to increase the infrastructure. that costs money, but it is good for the country.

RE: National Property? WHAT IS IT

Currency depreciation is caused by many factors, though from what I've seen in Ars-Regendi it isn't a direct cause-effect. Increasing the money supply causes currency depreciation, but in your state it shouldn't be that bad, it would stimulate growth via exports, make them more cheaper ergo more competitive.
