The GDP of the state Dasu Country today became negative number. It is not my state.

Well, it is both: A know and, unfortunately, not an uncommon problem. It's just due to the way Ars Regendi was programmed. In computer science, decimal numbers are usually encoded as so called two's complement binary numbers. They are very nice in terms of calculating since the sign (+ or -) and value are coded within the number and subtracting or adding yields the correct result. However, there is a problem of so called arithmetic overflows with them. In case the numbers are getting really big, adding two positive values might result in a negative value (and vice versa for negative values). We do not know the exact formular of the GDP, but just assuming that a multiplication with a negative value happened explains the negative GDP. The only way of preventing this kind of behavior is setting upper and lower limits, which is the case for some, but not all variables.

Chiech provoked this turn out of events by his little unconventional game play. If he is unhappy with the result, he can request that his state is set back to an earlier quarter.

MrProper is right. It is a problem with numeric values overflow and it was provoked by my play. I've been testing extreme scenerios for quite some time now.

I am suprised that Dasu Country is being observed. I suspect that it's at the very top of some ranking.

The worst outcome of crashing states is my experience which is awfully high. Experience has one impact that I know of - it let's you choose a template of your liking in a world. I think that, due to crashing states, it should be changed. Glory points are far more reliable. The only drawback I can think of is the fact that glory points promote aggressive behaviour. The highest amount of glory points in a world that I have ever seen was more than 1200 and it was achieved by conquering about 20 other states. On the other hand MrProper accumulated almost 900 points (or maybe more?) by peaceful policy of his emerging nation.

I think that the change should be suggested to the admins. Also I think that my experience should be reduced. I will ask admins to do so.

Two more, both are not mine and both are the World states: Nuskant and Syrea.

Another case of negative GDP: Giland. This state is the two ticks World state and it is not mine.
