noob question--trade agreements

Hi,

So on the "world" tab, if I'm looking for a trade deal, the resources listed for each state to the left of the brackets are what that state can export to me, while the resources listed to the right of the brackets are what that state needs to import?

And the "yes/no" list above the dropdown menu indicates the resources that my state can offer as exports?

Just checking to make sure I understand this correctly.

Thanks.

Please see this thread where I'm trying to get similar questions answered.

No means that you require a particular goods type, yes means that you have it.

You need to sign an agreement with a nation which has LX and FW.

I have "yes" for resources only and I have only 1 trade agreement. The agreement is with another resource power. So I believe Yes/No seems to indicate whether you have a trade agreement for that item.
I'm more curious about what inbound/outbound means. I wonder if it reflects who initiated the agreement or whether it reflects that it is an import/export.

RE: noob question--trade agreements

I figured it out, but thanks.

You produce one or two resources, and the list shows what each other country produces right after its name. After the brackets are its combined list of resources, including domestic production and existing trade deals. (So look for one that doesn't have whatever you produce.)

Outbound means you initiated the deal. Inbound means the other party initiated it. (Outbound deals cost you action points to start; inbound deals don't.) You can have up to three deals whether they're inbound or outbound.
