Nuclear Incident after Geothermal Project

It may not be a "bug" persay, but it makes little sense to have a nuclear meltdown afflict my state of Solstice in world Florenz after the completion of Geothermal Energy.

Nuclear Power IRL is clean energy save for spent fuel and the very real risk of a contaminating incident, even in developed nations. The creators of Ars were wise to include the possibility of a meltdown as a random event in order to make the nuclear energy task matter. This exclusion of meltdown risk should also extend to geothermal energy, seeing as how it excludes the nuclear power task itself.

My hope is that a Mod can agree and perhaps find a remedy for my state. I have made environmentlism a key tenet of the state concept, I would hate to see it get screwed up by an inconsistency in game logic.

RE: Nuclear Incident after Geothermal Project

I'm familiar with this event too. One may argue that during the shut-down & dismantling of nuclear plants (after the Geothermal Energy project), something went awry. In any case, the effects of random events don't last long. I can tell Sheep to reset your state a couple of quarters, if you want - though, I don't know if he'll be able to do that, considering that your state is a world state and that the issue itself is not a state-killer.
