PE Admin, PE Others, Governing through Budget

i'm not so sure what the budget posts PE Administration an PE Others contain (where is public infrastructure, roads, railway, airports, etc.?) and how raising or lowering these two influence my state. also i would like to know how the amount of PE Family affects my state; i imagine the birth rate but other than that?

is it possible to govern solely through reforms and budget changes or can certain aspects only be improved through task completion? i tend to avoid task decisions because i find them often obscure in their consequences. it makes the game a guessing game which i don't like.

Its practical to only choose the status quo for most tasks. However, some dont have that choice and others are important. Although either way you still need to solve the tasks, too many pile up will have negative consequences on your popularity. I largely govern through the budget, reforms, and projects.

RE: PE Admin, PE Others, Governing through Budget

Increasing PE Administration and PE Others will increase your state's "infrastructure" index, which can be viewed under "Quality of Life" in your state details. There is no way to spend on roads, airports etc directly through the budget, but there are certain tasks that focus on these things.

PE family affects birthrate and I'm fairly sure it has a small influence on your education and health indices in the long run, too.

It is possible to only govern through the budget and reforms, but you still need to pay attention to your tasks. You just need to choose "things are alright already, no change needed!" to solve a task without any consequences. If you don't address your tasks at all your population starts to get unhappy.

Once you've played a few states you start to understand the tasks, but you can also check the forums to see if there are any discussions on specific tasks or reforms.

Grüße aus Australien.
