Political Correctness - Malone - 27.10.2018 18:37

So if it is not ethnic minorities clamouring for PC censorship, who is? The Hidden Tribes researchers identified a section of society which it labelled ‘progressive activists’. This group includes those most wedded to political correctness: only 30 per cent see it as a problem. It is characterised as being young, cosmopolitan and liberal. But it makes up just eight per cent of the US population. They are also disproportionately white: 80 per cent of the ‘progressive activists’ surveyed were white compared with 69 per cent of those surveyed overall. They are also overwhelmingly better-off: so-called progressive activists are three times as likely to have a postgraduate education and twice as likely to be earning over $100,000 a year.

So obviously a privileged minority bullies the vast majority?

This is just a mind game the political right is playing to fuck with the heads of the political left. It’s bullshit.

The political right begins the game by creating divisions between groups of working class people. Tucker Carlson goes on TV and says “white people should be afraid of Black people!” Then Dave Chapelle goes in TV and says “Black people should resent gay people!” Then the entire #metoo movement goes on TV and says “all men want to rape women (ever notice the only politicians removed from office for #metoo allegations have all been liberal? Not one conservative has left because of this)!”

It’s all bullshit. All it does is keep everyone divided against each other to the point where we can barely communicate at all, much less work together.

Anyway, the political left fell for this stupid trick, and started mouthing right wing talking points.

The right then followed up by gaslighting the left, saying “you’re all being politically correct!”

It’s a way of keeping the left so off balance that it cannot organize a cohesive group. There will never be a workers Revolution so long as every worker hates every other worker because of some stupid identity conflict.
