Questions about taxation and other things

1. What is, exactly, an acquisition tax?

2. What is a capital tax?

3. What does it mean by 'money supply?'

4. What does it mean by 'administration'(is it infrastructure?)

5. Is there such a thing as 'labor participation rate' in this game? If not, is it included in the unemployment %?

Finally, as a personal question, why are, presumably, all the countries in this game set up as an autocratic dictatorship? Why is there no parliamentary or congressional element to the game? I feel that such a system would make it much more interesting, as you would actually need to THINK before making reforms... And actually have to make compromises with opposing viewpoints... This would make it much more indicative of reality.

RE: Questions about taxation and other things

1. In this game, it describes taxation on human labor and obligatory insurances.

2. A tax on assets and income from them.

3. AR doesn't not really specify what exactly its money supply measurement measures, but I suspect is M2.

4. Yes, PE Admin impacts the Infrastructure index. More details about it other than that, I don't have.

5. Employable people & apprentices factor in the most. Probably so do pensioners and children to a lesser degree. I don't know how the game matrix actually counts. However, the game factors in the voluntarily unemployed in the unemployment figures - which it should not in my opinion.

Yes, that would add a whole new domain of intrigues and role-playing.

Thank you for the answers, but I am still unsure about acquisition taxes. At this point, I believe it is most likely an income/insurance tax, which would explain the high amount of revenue it gives the state. If I am wrong, then I have no idea, which is what I originally intended to ask, what 'taxation on work' means... It is very oddly worded, or it is just something alien to me.

well, in most cases, I think it should. Being voluntarily employed likely means you are looking for better work.(or at least that is what I am understanding from IRL statistics)
