Representative Monarchy

So, this task seems interesting. First time I have it.

But my question is: Do you have a way of making yourself Monarch, or you end up as Primer Minister?

RE: Representative Monarchy

I ALWAYS choose that task option. The loveliness of representative monarchy has always seemed so beautiful to me... excluding the nobility part. A more powerful executive being limited by the other powers of his elected representatives. In England the biggest failure was that parliament had been a nobility ruled institution for so long, and it was the house of commons which should have dominated the king!

RE: Representative Monarchy

Well, I have the following choices:

1] "A royal dynasty! Marriages and baptisms, state visits and burial ceremonies!" gushes Ingrid Mindberg, who temporarily works at a kiosk, while scrolling through the tabloids. "We need a representative who can exemplify to us what we will never have: Riches and a happy, easy-going life. The legitimate follower of the last emperor is still alive, so why don't we reinstall the most magnificent monarchy in world history?"

_____________

2] "When the advocates of monarchy collect the money to bankroll that, they may well install a monarchy. But don't put the cost at the commonality!" Richard Sough, president of the association of taxpayers, suggests. "They will surely accumulate those few billion dollars quickly." He smirks. "No, seriously, there won't be any monarchy. We have no absence compared to the still existing monarchies, but a cultural advantage."

_____________

3] Dirk Loafhouse, your closest familiar, murmurs: "A monarchy is the ideal way to deepen your own power. We install a new royal dynasty, but the legitimate follower of the last emperor will suddenly stop being available as the new monarch because of certain... circumstances. I will take care for that. And then it's your turn. You will - apparently begrudging - allocate yourself as the follower to the throne, closing this... unfortunate gap. With you bearing crown and scepter, ruling your country will be much easier."

I think the last one is the one which allows me to become king of-sorts, where the first one should make me Prime Minister and the second directly I continue as president.
