Reset influence point costs

How would one go about doing that?
I am trying to find a way to keep my regent alive forever, and when I do find the perfect recipe, I just might give it a try with a tickless state.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

RE: Reset influence point costs

If you mean "action points", then there's no way to reset it. The best strategy would be to save up all your actions points and spend them only on regimen. But that means you'll have the rely on your regen't popularity alone to implement the more expensive reforms you want - and leaving reform propaganda action untouched.
As a tip, if you have at least 1 action point, you can make an action which requires more than 1 point - afterwards it will simply set your action point balance to negative. For instance, -3 or -4; depending on the cost.

That is very helpful, thank you!
So, in theory, I could keep a state going forever, right?

In fact, it doesn't seem all that possible... I would have to oscillate my influence points, so I could get as little as one action point every two years, which would then lead to astronomical wait times in between the required action points.
On average, by how much does one 'Regimen' action raise a regent's health?
It's so retarded how this game has moon colonization and transhumanism, but no way of keeping your regent alive indefinetly, age wise, with the reason against such a thing being 'realism'. Right.

RE: Reset influence point costs

Regimen can give you a few more years, and doing it several times might get you some healthy decades. If you correlate this with a higher health and environment index - the rate of decay will slow down. As an experiment, you can try a no-growth policy in a state. GDP growth, from what I've seen in AR, hurts the environment index. Try out a state in which you ONLY increase PE health and PE environment by max all the time. Pick task options that are green and virtually ensure that you keep your country in economic stagnation. I'm curious how much you can reap in regent-health benefits.
