At the begin, the world has to be full first (100 states), then you can do more than cites and first tasks.

Alliances are always limited to a world. You can enter trade treaties which will be accepted automatically, but cost 2 AP. Have a look what goods your state needs. A boycott weakens the economy of other countries a bit(as well as yours), it also costs 2 AP.

Every 32 quarters the world ruler is chosen, be sure to vote. Electing the world ruler doesn't end the world but it provides some rights for ihm (prohibiting reforms and more, it's work in progress). You can also bid on states which went exitus.

Atomic weapons can devastate your enemies and their neighbours, they also make your reputation suffer. You can develop und further improve your missiles, every upgrade costs 1 AP. Short distance means every country in your continent (zone) is in range, medium allows strikes into neighbouring zones and with long distance you can attack everyone.

Military strength depends on PE Defense, progress and morale. Using military outside your borders will cost additional money, it will be more expensive for a longer distance. You can only attack if your power / influence is high enough respective the other's country's reputation is low enough.

There are several options when attacking: You can try to conquer, resulting in a fight till one side completely loses. You can also use the retreat option: It won't be to the bitter end, troops will retreat when more than half of them is gone. Scorched earth is about devastating the other country, for example killing people. Desolate aims for destroying as much infrastructure as possible.

You can also deploy troops, they will automatically help defending. Another option of defending others is co-defend, no deployment is needed here. It's counterpart is co-attack, you support someone's attack. The main attacker decides when to retreat though, and he will get the country (in case of conquest).

A declaration of war delays the attack by one round but reduces war penalties for the attacker.

Was the map function fixed, because it always looked extremly small onmy computer and I could barely see anything.
