Snowden not to fall in Germany

Okay, so earlier I posted something suggesting that Germany granting asylum to Snowden woudl be a Pandora's Box. The replies were pretty intense, and most of them suggested that I had no idea what I was talking about and was just a very stupid person.

Well, Pandora's Box has just been opened. This issue is and was alot more complicated than it was presented on the surface, and it's going to get a whole lot more complicated now.

If you're referring to me, I did not imply that you were very stupid or stupid at all, for that matter. I said that you weren't familiar with the political economy problems of the eurozone.
And as for the "pandora's box", it's not a box for foreign relations. It's an embarrassing issue for the governments, being exposed to the public. If you were implying that bilateral relations between Germany and the USA would be tarnished, you would have been wrong. The money and the goods and the information flows regardless of Snowden's asylum.
There have been a lot of such cases of illegal government surveillance, lies and manipulation coming from superstate institutions and international organizations, see the WTO with the inflated swine-flu pandemia and dealings with drug companies, see the Climate Gate scandal, see the ethiopian women being given contraceptive shots without consent in Israeli hospitals, see the false motives for the Vietnam war, and the list goes on...
Ask your average american and european on the street about Wikileaks, and see what he/she as to say. It's a thing of priority - prices are, jobs are, wages are, the state of roads, medical services, utility bills... those things interest the average Joe. Some youngsters may be more aware of the topic, and might have a position vis-a-vis the thing, but you'll hear most of them say that they're not interested in politics. And that says it all.
