The task has currently three options that influence unions' position as follows:
- strongly weakened (abolishment of unions)
- moderately strengthened (government subsidies)
- strongly strengthened (mandatory membership)

I would like to add a fourth option that moderately weakens labor unions' position: Take away all special privileges of labor unions (especially Arbeitskampfmittel (don't know the English term) like the right to strike and other breaches of labor contract without the employer being able to fire/sue the employee) and treat them like any other association. This would protect the civil right to associate and prevent economically harmful strikes like the ones from the pilot or train conductor unions.

Sheep once made a very strong statement with respect to adding options just for that task. Given that you speak German, I post the reference for you and translate just once sentence from this statement for everyone else.

However, it did happen in the past that additional solutions were added for tasks, if Malone felt it was a valuable asset. If you want to take your chances, write an actual text for the new option and describe what outcome/effect on the state you have in mind.
