It's titled "Einleitung" and "Labor Unions". I chose the middle option.

I dislike how states like this can have high automation and high infrastructure despite low investment, government spending, and gdp as well as high population.

Efficient organization is important, but again, that comes down to understanding the game's intuition and values since fine tuning isn't possible short of trial and error experiments or buying into it. Subscription prices though are way too high since actual, more sophisticated games can be bought permanently at cheaper prices.

Why return? That's a good question.

Please let us, and other users, discuss about the state in an own thread, here: http://forum.ars-regendi.com/split-what-...-8135.html

But, which more sophisticated games do you mean?

Why return? That's a good question.

I dislike how when I raise my interest rate, exports go up and savings go down.

Why return? That's a good question.

You stick too much on classical theory, which does not sufficiently picture realitiy. There can be lots other effects, that overcompensate your expectations.

That's fine and all, but it's impossible to reasonably like those assumptions if they're not discussed, so it'd be nice to actually discuss them.

RE: What do you dislike in Ars Regendi?

Here's another stupid example of a state:

Unemployment: 14.89 %
Savings Ratio: -5.71 % (Throws your savings rate explanation to the birds)
Commodity Index: 2.42
Labour Time: 3.36 h/Day
Free Time: 12.16 h/Day

Education&Culture, Safety, and Regent figures are off the charts despite how:

Living costs: 2,896 € per month
Welfare: 1,478.18 € pcm
Pensions: 2,410.31 € pcm
Basic income: 82.06 € pcm

Low statism, high civil rights, high(wtf?) equality of opportunity, high defense, and high corruption should require more than just surveillance to suppress civil unrest.

Again, where is the business cycle? This economy has debt-deflation written all over it.
More examples of prosperous states with horribly low savings ratios:

http://www.ars-regendi.com/state/27107/detail6.html (-23.86 %)
http://www.ars-regendi.com/state/28261/detail6.html (-32.16 %)
http://www.ars-regendi.com/state/32160/detail6.html (-10.67 %)
http://www.ars-regendi.com/state/29636/detail6.html (-8.93 %)
http://www.ars-regendi.com/state/29991/detail6.html (-25.69 %)
http://www.ars-regendi.com/state/26412/detail6.html (-11.68 %)
http://www.ars-regendi.com/state/27477/detail6.html (-26.77 %)

Why return? That's a good question.

RE: What do you dislike in Ars Regendi?

The possiblity of doing radical change in the states you're guiding is much too low.
And besides that, it's kind of tricky to navigate around the site. You don't have a clear view of your account and the different features. The layout itself is all fine, but the structure of the site could need to be more "flat"?

I also think there's a lack in the way "planned economy" reforms are measured. The system assumes that the growth and infrastructure moven OUT of the country, when you activate it. That's completely out of the concept, since you nationalize ressources under a planned economy exactly to prevent the production from being moved out of the country. But this reform seems to miss the nationalization part.
And then, there's a huge difference between democratically planned economy (through workers councils), and command economies (which they had in Eastern Bloc, USSR, etc.).

"Patriotism is your conviction that this country is superior to all other countries because you were born in it."
~ George Bernard Shaw

"When the people are beaten with a stick they are not much happier if it is called 'the People's Stick."
~ Mikhail Bakunin

Well democratic work councils is anarchosyndicalism (which is not a central planned economy) because it enjoys regional autonomy.

RE: What do you dislike in Ars Regendi?

So it is. And why do you think, the economy moves out? Sure, international cooporations won't invest anymore.
